Who can take part
- You have intermediate or advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have not had any previous cancer-fighting medicines for your liver cancer.
- You will be receiving an immune checkpoint inhibitor as your first treatment.
- You have metabolic syndrome – at least 3 of these: large waist, high triglycerides, low good cholesterol, high blood pressure, or high blood sugar.
- Your cancer can be seen on a scan (CT or MRI) and is at least 1 cm in size.
- Your liver and kidney function are within acceptable limits.
