Advanced Prostate Cancer

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This study tests a new oral drug called XNW5004 in combination with other standard treatments (like abiraterone, enzalutamide, or chemotherapy) for advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer controlled by hormone therapy alone. The goal is to see if these combinations work better than current options.

Who can take part

  • You are male and at least 18 years old.
  • Your prostate cancer has spread to bones or soft tissues (like lymph nodes) and can be seen on scans.
  • You are currently on hormone therapy to lower testosterone (or have had your testicles removed) and your testosterone level is very low.
  • Your cancer has gotten worse while on hormone therapy—shown by rising PSA, new growth on scans, or new bone lesions.
  • Your prior treatment history fits one of the study groups: for example, you have taken a newer hormone therapy (like enzalutamide) but not abiraterone, and it stopped working, OR you have not had any cancer treatment besides hormone therapy and maybe a first-generation antiandrogen (like bicalutamide).
  • You are generally healthy enough for daily activities and have adequate organ function (liver, kidneys, blood counts).
