Who can take part

  • You have had at least one significant ankle sprain more than 12 months ago.
  • Your ankle often gives way or feels unstable (at least 2 times in the last 6 months).
  • You score 24 or less on a questionnaire about ankle stability (Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool).
  • You are between 18 and 44 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.8 and 29.
  • You have not had any leg surgery, fractures, or ankle/foot immobilization in the past 6 months.
