Adult Participants Requiring Tracheal Intubation Under General Anesthesia for Elective Surgery

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old.
  • You are having an elective surgery that will take 1.5 to 4 hours and requires a breathing tube under general anesthesia.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.0 and 28.0.
  • You are in good health (ASA grade I or II) and have no serious heart, lung, or muscle conditions.
  • You agree to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have no history of drug or alcohol abuse, and you are not taking certain medicines that affect muscle relaxants.
