Who can take part
- You are 50 years of age or older
- You have type 2 diabetes that is not well controlled, with your most recent HbA1c (a blood test) at 8% or higher
- You are willing to install and use a voice-activated smart speaker with a touchscreen in your home for 3 months
- You do not have significant confusion, dementia, or serious mental health issues that would affect participation
- You do not have a current alcohol or drug dependency
