Who can take part

  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be over 35.
  • You cannot have certain hormone disorders, like Cushing's disease or untreated hypothyroidism.
  • You must not have had any prior weight-loss (bariatric) surgery.
  • You must be able to attend follow-up appointments for at least 3 months after the procedure.
