Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have paralysis from a spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, or multiple sclerosis affecting your trunk or legs (and you are not on a ventilator)
  • It has been at least 6 months since your injury or diagnosis
  • You are not pregnant, do not have a pacemaker or defibrillator, and do not have serious health problems that would make the study unsafe
