Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with squamous non-small cell lung cancer that has spread locally or to other parts of the body.
- You cannot have received any previous treatment (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, etc.) for your advanced lung cancer.
- You need to be in reasonably good health, able to take care of yourself, and have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
- You must be willing to provide a tumor tissue sample (from a past biopsy or surgery) and have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- You must have adequate heart, kidney, liver, and blood function as determined by standard lab tests.
- You must agree to use effective birth control during and for 7 months after treatment if you or your partner could become pregnant.
