Who can take part
- You are between 20 and 40 years old, male or female
- You have had nerve pain shooting down one leg for more than 3 months that comes from a herniated disc in your lower back (confirmed by MRI and a neurosurgeon)
- You do not have high blood pressure or diabetes
- You have not had back surgery before
- You do not have narrowing of the spinal canal, abnormal spine curvature (scoliosis or kyphosis), or a spinal fracture
