New pill compared to standard treatment for PNH

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • Your weight must be at least 40 kg (about 88 pounds).
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of PNH, a rare blood disorder that destroys red blood cells.
  • You must not have taken any complement inhibitor medicines before (like eculizumab).
  • You must have signs of active PNH, such as low hemoglobin (anemia) or high LDH (a marker of red blood cell breakdown), or have needed blood transfusions recently.
