Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with PNH and over 10% of your PNH cells are affected.
  • You have never taken a complement inhibitor (like eculizumab) for PNH.
  • Your hemoglobin (a red blood cell measure) is low (below 100 g/L) or you needed a blood transfusion for PNH-related anemia recently.
  • Your LDH level (a marker of red blood cell breakdown) is more than 1.5 times the normal upper limit.
  • You do not have certain other medical conditions or recent treatments that would exclude you, such as severe bone marrow failure, recent infections, or use of certain medications.
