Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older with a body mass index (BMI) of 18 or higher.
  • You have been diagnosed with PNH and at least 10% of your red blood cells have the PNH defect.
  • You have been on a stable dose of a medicine like eculizumab (anti-C5 antibody) for at least 6 months.
  • Your hemoglobin level has been below 10 g/dL (100 g/L) on at least two tests in the past 4 months and still low at screening.
  • You must be willing to get vaccines for certain bacteria (meningococcus, pneumococcus, Haemophilus influenzae) before starting the study drug.
  • You are not currently taking any other investigational drugs and do not have a history of certain infections or conditions.
