Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your brain tumor must be a recurrent high-grade glioma or a brain metastasis, and must not need urgent surgery.
  • The tumor must be at least 25-30 mm long and in a part of the brain that is not critical for movement or speech.
  • You must be able to sit still for the procedure and agree to have part of your head shaved.
  • Your blood pressure and blood clotting must be within safe limits, and you must be able to have MRI and CT scans with contrast dye.
  • If you are of childbearing potential, you must use effective birth control during and for 6 months after the procedure.
