Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 70 years old.
  • You have had shoulder pain for more than 3 months.
  • An X-ray or ultrasound has shown a calcium deposit in your shoulder tendon larger than 5 mm.
  • Your shoulder pain is at least a 4 out of 10 on a pain scale.
  • You have not had surgery or a fracture in that shoulder, and you have not had a steroid injection there in the last 6 weeks.
