This study is checking the long-term effects of two osteoporosis treatments (romosozumab and denosumab) in people whose bone thinning was caused by steroids. If you have been in the study for 4 years already, it looks at how well continuing denosumab works over 6 years.

Who can take part

  • You must have been in the earlier part of this study and continued taking denosumab injections every 6 months after month 48.
  • You must be willing to have a bone density scan at the 6-year mark.
  • You cannot be taking any other osteoporosis medications besides denosumab.
  • You must not plan to stop or reduce your prednisolone (a steroid) treatment after month 48.
