Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) – a type of high blood pressure in the lungs caused by blood clots.
  • Your doctor must have recommended surgery called pulmonary endarterectomy to remove the clots.
  • You need to be able to have a small sensor (CardioMEMS) placed in your lung artery during surgery and use a home monitor to send readings to your care team.
  • You must be willing to follow the study requirements and attend scheduled checkups.
