This study looks at patterns from specialized lung scan tests to help diagnose chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (a long-term problem with blood flow in the lungs after blood clots). If your results suggest this condition and you need a procedure to check heart pressure, you may be asked to join so the researchers can improve diagnosis.

Who can take part

  • You have symptoms and test results that suggest chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH).
  • Your lung scan tests and an ultrasound of your heart (echocardiography) fit the study’s diagnosis standard (per French recommendations).
  • You need a right heart catheterization (a procedure to measure pressure inside the right side of your heart).
  • Your lung scan must not be normal on the perfusion scan.
  • You must be able to give informed consent after learning about the study.
  • You must have French social security coverage (affiliated or entitled).
