Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You've had stroke-related pain for at least 1 year, and the stroke was in the thalamus area.

- You are healthy enough for brain surgery and can use a device to control the stimulation.
- You don't have other serious health issues like heart disease, infections, or untreated cancer.
