Ultrasound test to detect heart ischemia

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are being evaluated for possible acute coronary syndrome, based on symptoms, ECG, or lab tests, and have a HEART score greater than 3
  • You are not in cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure, or without a viable heartbeat
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no known allergy to ultrasound contrast agents or eggs
  • You do not have neutropenia (very low white blood cell count) or an autoimmune/inflammatory disease affecting the heart
