Genetics of muscle insulin resistance study

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are not currently diagnosed with diabetes (confirmed by a blood test).
  • You have a body mass index (BMI) over 18.
  • Your weight has been stable (no major gain or loss) in the past 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree not to become pregnant during the study.
  • You are not on certain diabetes or blood-thinning medications, and you can avoid alcohol before procedures.
