Who can take part

  • You must be a sedentary person — meaning you get 30 minutes or less of activity on no more than 1 day per week.
  • Your weight should have been stable (no big changes) for at least 3 months before joining.
  • You cannot have active heart disease, heart failure, or certain other serious health issues like uncontrolled high blood pressure, liver/kidney problems, or an active infection.
  • You must not use tobacco, misuse alcohol or drugs, or be pregnant or past menopause (no period for 12 months).
  • If you take certain medications (like for blood pressure, thyroid, depression, or cholesterol), your dose must have been steady for the past 2 months.
