Who can take part

  • You must have a blood test result showing high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) between 2 and 15 mg/L.
  • You must have at least one of these conditions: atherosclerosis, obesity (BMI ≥30), type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or chronic kidney disease stages 3 or 4.
  • You must not have had a recent heart attack, stroke, or heart failure hospitalization within the last 60 days.
  • Your blood pressure must be well-controlled (below 160/100 mmHg).
  • You must not have active infections (including tuberculosis, hepatitis B or C), autoimmune diseases, or a weakened immune system.
  • You must not have a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, diverticulitis, or major gastrointestinal surgery.
