Who can take part

  • You are at clinical high risk for psychosis, confirmed by a special interview
  • Your clinical team agrees that you are stable enough to take part
  • You can give informed consent
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or using an intrauterine device
  • You have not had electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in the last 6 months
  • You do not have any metal implants in your head or neck, a history of seizures, a brain tumor or brain surgery, or severe heart disease
  • You have never had rTMS (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation) before
  • You do not have a documented history of significant intellectual disability
