Finerenone after heart procedure to lower atrial fibrillation return

Atrial Fibrillation (AF)

Treatments studied

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial tests whether taking finerenone after a heart procedure to fix irregular heartbeat can help prevent atrial fibrillation from coming back. It's for people having their first such procedure and aims to improve long-term heart rhythm health.

Finerenone for heart rhythm stability in preserved ejection fraction heart failure

This study tests whether finerenone, a medication that may help the heart work better, can improve electrical stability in people with a certain type of heart failure (HFpEF). It aims to reduce irregular heart rhythms and improve overall heart health.

NCT06008197Recruiting· Phase 3
A study of finerenone for hospitalized heart failure patients

This trial tests a medication called finerenone to see if it helps people hospitalized for heart failure live longer and have fewer heart-related problems. It may be an option for those with a certain type of heart failure where the heart's pumping strength is mildly reduced or normal.

NCT07583173Not yet recruiting· Phase 4
Finerenone for heart failure with preserved pumping function

This trial tests a new medicine called finerenone to see if it can reduce heart scarring and improve heart function in people with a certain type of heart failure (preserved ejection fraction). If you qualify, you may help researchers learn if this treatment can help you feel better and stay out of the hospital.

Beijing
NCT06033950Recruiting· Phase 3
A study of finerenone for heart failure patients who can't take standard MRA drugs

This study tests whether finerenone, a new type of drug, can help people with heart failure who cannot take standard steroid-based MRAs (a kind of heart medication) because of side effects or other reasons. It aims to see if it improves symptoms and is safe for you.

Fairhope, Alabama
NCT07575672Recruiting· Phase 3
Finerenone after heart valve replacement

This study tests if the drug finerenone helps people with heart failure who had a heart valve replacement (TAVI) for severe aortic stenosis. The goal is to see if it improves heart function and outcomes.

NCT06168994Not yet recruiting· Phase 4
Eplerenone to prevent irregular heartbeat in people with heart disease

This study tests whether a medicine called eplerenone can help prevent atrial fibrillation from coming back in people who also have structural heart disease (changes in the heart's structure). If you have had episodes of irregular heartbeat that stopped, this drug might lower the chance of them returning.
