This study tests whether adding metformin (a diabetes medicine) or chlorhexidine gel (an antiseptic) to standard deep cleaning helps improve gum disease more than deep cleaning alone. It may be an option if you have moderate gum disease and are looking for a non-surgical treatment.
This trial tests if a special gel placed in the gums after deep cleaning helps treat periodontitis (advanced gum disease). You may qualify if you have gum pockets of 5mm or deeper that bleed when probed.
This study tests whether adding a special gel to standard deep cleaning improves gum disease treatment. It may help reduce gum inflammation and prevent further damage.
This study tests whether a special gel containing melatonin, applied directly to your gums, helps treat moderate gum disease. It may help reduce inflammation and improve healing in your gums.
This study tests a new gel that is placed directly into the gum pocket during a dental procedure. The gel slowly releases an antibiotic (minocycline) to fight infection and support natural bone regrowth, which may help save teeth affected by severe gum disease.
This trial tests if a gel made from spirulina can help treat mild-to-moderate gum disease (periodontitis). You may be a good fit if your gum disease is at a specific stage and you are otherwise healthy.
