Study of IDP-121 for small cell lung cancer that stopped responding to platinum
Part of Cancer, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.
This trial tests a new drug, IDP-121, alone or with another chemo drug, for people with small cell lung cancer that came back after initial treatment. The goal is to see if it can shrink tumors and help people live longer.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have advanced small cell lung cancer that returned after first-line platinum-based chemo, with at least a 3-month break before it came back (for the IDP-121 alone group) or less than 3 months (for the topotecan combination group).
- You are able to do daily activities with some help (ECOG 0-2).
- Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within certain limits.
- Your heart function is normal (ejection fraction >50%).

This trial tests a new study drug (PF08634404) combined with standard chemotherapy for people whose non-small cell lung cancer has changed into a more aggressive form called small cell lung cancer. It hopes to improve outcomes by targeting the cancer in two ways.
This early-stage trial tests a new immunotherapy drug called BI115 in people with advanced small cell lung cancer (a fast-growing type of lung cancer). The study will check if the drug is safe and whether it helps slow or shrink the cancer.
This trial tests a new drug called ZL-1310, alone or with other treatments, for people with small cell lung cancer that has spread (extensive-stage). It aims to see if ZL-1310 can help shrink tumors or slow the disease.
This trial compares a new drug combination (lurbinectedin with or without irinotecan) against the standard treatment (topotecan) for people whose small cell lung cancer has come back after initial chemotherapy. It aims to see if the new options work better.
This trial tests different experimental drugs matched to the specific genetic makeup of your small cell lung cancer. The goal is to see if targeting your cancer's particular molecular type can shrink tumors or delay their growth better than standard care.
This trial tests a new drug, ZL-1310, against standard treatments for people with small cell lung cancer that has returned after initial therapy. The goal is to see if ZL-1310 works better than other options.
