Testing a liver pump with standard chemo for colorectal cancer that spread to the liver
This trial tests whether adding a special chemotherapy pump implanted in your liver (hepatic arterial infusion) to standard chemotherapy works better than standard chemotherapy alone for people whose colorectal cancer has spread only to the liver and cannot be removed by surgery. The pump delivers high doses of chemo directly to the liver to shrink tumors and possibly control the disease longer.
