Flecainide vs amiodarone to treat fast heart rhythm in ER
This trial compares two medicines—flecainide and amiodarone—to help restore normal rhythm during an emergency visit for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (a-fib). It’s aimed at people who also have coronary artery disease but no ongoing (residual) heart ischemia, and who have enough heart pumping strength.
