This trial tests a 7-day combination of vonoprazan, high-dose amoxicillin, and bismuth to treat Helicobacter pylori infection in people who have never been treated for it before. The goal is to see if this short course is effective and safe for curing the infection.

This study compares two medications—vonoprazan and esomeprazole—to see which one heals acid reflux-related damage in the esophagus better after POEM surgery for achalasia. If you have had POEM and now have heartburn and moderate to severe esophagitis, this trial may help find the best treatment for you.

Comparing three medicines for severe acid reflux healing
This trial tests vonaprazan (two doses) against esomeprazole to see which better heals moderate-to-severe reflux esophagitis (a damaged esophagus from acid reflux) in 8 weeks. You may qualify if you have had heartburn or regurgitation for at least a month and your doctor found grade B, C, or D damage on an endoscopy.

Eradication treatment versus acid pills to prevent GI bleeding
This trial compares a “dual eradication therapy” (to get rid of H. pylori in the stomach) versus usual acid-reducing pills (PPIs) to lower the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in people with recent heart artery disease treated with a stent. It may help by reducing stomach infection-related bleeding while you continue needed heart medicines.

This trial compares an IV “acid-suppressing” medicine (PPI infusion) with acid pills (oral PPIs) after doctors treat a bleeding peptic ulcer endoscopically. It may help prevent re-bleeding by keeping stomach acid low while the ulcer heals.
