Who can take part

  • You have colorectal cancer (any stage I–IV) or it has come back, or you have certain head and neck cancers, or a specific pancreatic situation, or a metastatic/unresectable solid tumor (trial has multiple groups).
  • You are able to read, write, and speak English and can give informed consent.
  • You can complete study tasks based on your mobility: you should generally be up and about much of the day and able to care for yourself (overall “function” score must be within the allowed range).
  • You must follow the group-specific treatment rules (for some groups you must currently be getting radiation; for others you must be scheduled for curative pancreatic surgery).
  • You can join from the Houston-area (for some groups) and have the required home contact/technology setup (for the phone/at-home parts).
