Focused ultrasound to treat medication-resistant temporal lobe seizures

Who can take part

  • Your tests show a one-sided problem in the hippocampus on one side of the brain.
  • Your seizures have not improved despite trying at least three anti-seizure medicines.
  • You are considered a good candidate for surgery to control seizures.
  • You were offered non-dominant front-and-middle temporal lobe surgery (not the side that controls language).
  • You can clearly understand and follow study instructions, and you can give consent.
