Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have tried at least 3 different seizure medicines that did not work well.
  • You currently take between 1 and 4 seizure medicines.
  • You have at least 4 focal seizures (starting in one part of the brain) per 2 months, and at least one seizure per month.
  • You do not have any implanted devices like a pacemaker or deep brain stimulator.
  • You do not have serious medical problems or conditions that would make it hard to follow the study.
