Who can take part
- You had a stem cell transplant before that did not lead to lasting blood count recovery
- Your blood counts (ANC) did not rise enough by about days 35–42, or they rose then later dropped again
- Your donor cells may have been lost (chimerism issue), based on specific marrow or blood testing
- Your kidneys, liver, and heart function must meet study limits
- Your infection must be under control at the time of the second transplant
- You must not have Fanconi anemia or other DNA repair (DNA breakage) conditions
