New radiation approach for locally advanced lung cancer

Who can take part

  • You have confirmed non-small cell lung cancer that has not spread far (stage IIB to IIIB).
  • Your energy/function level is good (performance status 0 to 1).
  • You can follow the treatment plan, visits, and follow-up schedule.
  • You can safely receive the planned radiation dose (66 Gy over 33 sessions) and the treatment area’s normal tissues can be kept within safety limits.
  • If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test; nursing/breastfeeding women cannot join.
