Who can take part

  • You have a genetic diagnosis of Friedreich’s ataxia, or you are a healthy person without a neuromuscular (movement/nerve) disorder
  • You are between 6 and 70 years old
  • You can safely do metabolic exercise testing
  • If you take heart medicines, your dose and regimen have been stable for at least 3 months
