Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with exactly one cerebral cavernous malformation (CCM) in the brain
  • The CCM that causes symptoms has not been treated before
  • You can get research brain MRIs (no reason you can’t safely have MRI, and you’re willing to do it)
  • You have no history of brain surgery for this problem and no prior brain radiation
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can attend follow-up visits
