- Your baby is 28 days old or younger (after birth).
- A parent or legal guardian can provide written consent.
- Your baby has one of these conditions, such as brain injury from lack of oxygen, bleeding in the brain, hydrocephalus, meningitis/brain infection, or a brain/vessel birth abnormality.
- The study team can collect the needed blood/tissue samples in enough quantity.
