Who can take part

  • You have a thyroid biopsy result that shows certain types of papillary thyroid cancer (or cells that strongly suggest it).
  • Your thyroid nodule is 2.0 cm (about 0.8 inch) or smaller on ultrasound.
  • If your biopsy was “Bethesda III or IV,” you must have a BRAF mutation.
  • You must be able to read and write English to complete study questionnaires.
  • You must be able to understand the study and sign consent forms (including privacy permission).
