Comparing treatments for small thyroid cancer

Papillary Thyroid Microcarcinoma

  • You have one small thyroid cancer tumor, no bigger than 1 cm (about half an inch).
  • The tumor is only inside your thyroid and has not spread to nearby tissues.
  • No signs of cancer in the lymph nodes in your neck.
  • The cancer has not spread to other parts of your body.
