Who can take part
- You are age 50 or older
- You have stable heart failure symptoms for now (your study doctor agrees this fits)
- Your last test within 12 months showed heart pumping of at least 40% (and you may be grouped by 40–49% or 50%+)
- Blood tests show higher heart-stress hormones (NT-proBNP or BNP) at levels set by the study, with special cutoffs if you have atrial fibrillation
- You take a “water pill” called a loop diuretic regularly (most days)
- You have NYHA Class II to IV heart failure symptoms
