Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old.
  • You have one of these: high-risk AML, ALL, MDS (RAEB), or mixed-phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL).
  • Your cancer fits a specific situation (measurable disease in first remission, relapse after remission, primary refractory disease, or certain types that evolved from other blood disorders).
  • You must have a matched donor (related or unrelated) who can give the stem cells.
  • Your heart, lungs, and liver health must be good enough for transplant (with specific test cutoffs).
  • You cannot have certain major exclusions (for example uncontrolled infection, active brain/spinal leukemia, certain past transplants, or HIV).
