  • You are 60 years old or older (or younger but cannot handle a stronger chemo regimen).
  • You have been newly diagnosed with a high-risk blood cancer like AML, high-risk MDS, or CMML, and you have not yet started strong treatment.
  • You have a caregiver who can help you during recovery.
  • Your liver and kidneys are working well enough (based on blood tests).
  • There is a suitable stem cell donor available (related, unrelated, or half-matched family member).
