Tesamorelin after wrist ulnar nerve injury to improve function

This trial tests whether tesamorelin can improve arm/hand function after an ulnar nerve cut at the wrist that was repaired right away. It’s meant for people whose nerve injury has been surgically repaired and who can safely follow the study plan.

Who can take part

  • You had a cut to the ulnar nerve at the wrist that was repaired right away
  • You do not currently have cancer, and you don’t have certain past cancer histories
  • Your diabetes and blood pressure are controlled (no uncontrolled disease)
  • You do not have certain pituitary (brain hormone) problems
  • You are not pregnant, and you are not taking oral contraceptive pills
  • You don’t have drug or alcohol dependence and you can reliably follow study visits and treatment
