Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old (including both ages)
  • You have a permanent implanted pacemaker or implanted defibrillator that can pace the upper and lower heart
  • Your heart’s pumping strength is above 50% on an echocardiogram (left ventricular ejection fraction)
  • You can and are willing to give informed consent
  • You do not currently need a cardiac resynchronization device
