Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your heart's pumping ability (LVEF) is 35% or higher.
  • You have a condition that requires a pacemaker for more than 20% of the time, like third-degree or second-degree heart block.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan (no claustrophobia or metal implants that are unsafe).
  • You do not have a defibrillator or need one, and do not have severe heart valve disease.
