Testing amylin’s role in nerve pain from type 2 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
  • You have nerve symptoms consistent with peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in arms/legs)
  • Your nerve test results (Nerve Conduction Velocity, or NCV) must show mild to severe nerve impairment
  • Your NCV test results must be below the study’s “average or better” level
  • You must be willing to complete the nerve testing needed for the study
