Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 30 years old
  • Your ACL injury happened within the last 4 days
  • Your injured knee has swelling from blood/fluid (effusion or hemarthrosis)
  • You do not have an inflammatory arthritis, gout, or pseudogout
  • You have not had knee surgery before, and you did not have a prior injury that required crutches
