Who can take part

  • You have AML (or a related leukemia with a myeloid component) that has come back or didn’t respond to prior treatment
  • Your leukemia test shows an IDH2 gene mutation (documented in your records)
  • You are generally able to carry out daily activities (ECOG 3 or less)
  • Your kidneys and liver blood tests are within allowed limits, or the changes are explained by the leukemia or benign Gilbert’s disease
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you follow pregnancy prevention rules during the study and for 3 months after the last dose
  • You do not have the specific leukemia subtype called acute promyelocytic leukemia (FAB M3) or the t(15;17) chromosome change
