Who can take part

  • You’re 18 or older, and your cancer in the last 5 years must be a solid tumor (not small cell lung cancer).
  • You have a brain metastasis that is still there (not removed) and measures 3 to 6 cm, or you had surgery and now need staged stereotactic radiation.
  • An MRI with contrast must be done within 30 days (or you qualify based on the surgery plan).
  • You can have had whole-brain radiation before, and you may have multiple brain spots as long as one “main” lesion is 3 to 6 cm.
  • You must not have leptomeningeal metastases (cancer spread to the fluid layer around the brain), and the main spot must not have already had radiotherapy.
