Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 or older) with overall ability to function fairly well (ECOG 0 to 2) and expected survival of at least 3 months
  • You have a confirmed cancer diagnosis that has spread to the brain, with 1 to 5 brain metastases seen on contrast MRI
  • At least one brain tumor is measurable (about 1 cm or larger in one direction), and all tumors are no larger than 3 cm
  • You can get a contrast MRI (gadolinium) safely (no allergy and kidney function is adequate, and your device is compatible)
  • If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test within 14 days of the scan
  • You can understand and agree to sign informed consent
